Aadhar Housing Finance has received a credit rating upgrade from CARE Ratings for its Long Term Bank Facilities. The rating moved up from CARE AA (Stable) to CARE AA+ (Stable), reflecting improved creditworthiness. The total rated amount was also enhanced from Rs. 13,951.07 crore to Rs. 16,071.57 crore. The upgrade was based on the company's operational and financial performance for FY25 (audited). The upgrade applies to facilities from multiple banks including SBI, Bank of Baroda, Indian Bank, NHB, and others.
Positive for shareholders — a higher credit rating (AA+) lowers the company's future borrowing costs and signals stronger financial health, which is generally viewed favorably by the market and may support the stock price.
