Abans Enterprises reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 1,35,672 lakhs for Q1 FY26, up about 14.6% from Rs 1,18,395 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax rose modestly to Rs 467.92 lakhs from Rs 427.52 lakhs, a growth of roughly 9.4% YoY. Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 1,35,888 lakhs. On a standalone basis, revenue grew to Rs 5,718 lakhs from Rs 5,496 lakhs, with PAT nearly flat at Rs 167 lakhs. The results carry an unmodified limited review opinion from the new auditor, M/s Class & Co LLP, replacing the predecessor firm M/s Paresh Rakesh & Associates LLP. The proposed merger of wholly-owned subsidiary Abans Jewels Limited with the company is still pending NCLT approval and has not been given effect in these numbers.
Topline growth is healthy but profitability improvement is modest, keeping margins thin at roughly 1.3% on a consolidated basis. Shareholders should note the auditor change and the pending subsidiary merger, which could materially reshape future financials once approved.
