Abans Financial Services Limited (formerly Abans Holdings) submitted its audited Q4 and FY25 results with an unmodified opinion from statutory auditor CNK & Associates LLP. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations jumped to Rs 3,28,068 lakhs in FY25 from Rs 1,37,991 lakhs in FY24, up about 138%, while consolidated profit after tax rose to Rs 10,851 lakhs from Rs 8,924 lakhs (~22% growth). Consolidated EPS stood at Rs 21.56 (basic). On a standalone basis, the company swung from a loss of Rs 672 lakhs in FY24 to a profit of Rs 1,497 lakhs in FY25, with revenue more than doubling. The Board also approved the results, which include ESOP allotments of 4.30 lakh shares during the year.
Strong top-line growth and a return to standalone profitability should be viewed positively by shareholders, signalling business expansion. However, consolidated operating cash flow turned sharply negative at Rs (11,876) lakhs versus Rs 3,341 lakhs inflow last year, mainly due to a large rise in receivables, which may warrant caution on cash quality of earnings.
