ABC India Limited reported standalone audited financial results for FY26 (year ended March 31, 2026). Revenue from operations declined to Rs 16,404.02 lakhs from Rs 18,495.28 lakhs in FY25, representing an 11.3% year-on-year decline. Profit before tax stood at Rs 216.36 lakhs compared to Rs 308.17 lakhs in the previous year, while net profit was Rs 230.82 lakhs versus Rs 246.93 lakhs. Basic EPS declined to Rs 4.28 from Rs 4.56. The Freight & Services segment saw significant profit decline from Rs 895.32 lakhs to Rs 348.31 lakhs. Exceptional items of Rs 412.03 lakhs (primarily profit on sale of assets) helped offset operational losses. The board recommended a dividend of Rs 0.50 per share (5% on face value of Rs 10). Auditors BDS & Co. issued an unqualified opinion with unmodified audit report. Borrowings reduced significantly from Rs 1,473.82 lakhs to Rs 418.25 lakhs, while cash and cash equivalents stood at Rs 353.12 lakhs.
The stock faces pressure due to an 11% revenue decline and lower profitability year-on-year. However, the exceptional item from asset sales and substantial debt reduction provide some cushion. The modest dividend reflects conservative capital allocation amid declining earnings.
