ABM International posted Q1FY27 standalone revenue from operations of Rs 1045.29 lakhs, down about 27% from Rs 1430.33 lakhs in Q1FY26. Despite the revenue drop, the company swung to a profit after tax of Rs 68.30 lakhs versus a loss of Rs 8.80 lakhs a year ago. Total expenses fell sharply to Rs 988.68 lakhs from Rs 1451.44 lakhs, driving the turnaround. EPS stood at Rs 0.73 versus negative Rs 0.09. The auditor issued an unqualified review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Mixed bag: sharp revenue decline is worrying, but swing to profit and cost cuts are positive. Small-cap results may have limited stock impact.
