Abril Paper Tech reported revenue from operations of ₹3,802.89 lakhs for H1 FY26, up about 14.5% from ₹3,322.13 lakhs in H1 FY25. Profit after tax grew to ₹107.27 lakhs from ₹84.47 lakhs, a rise of roughly 27%, with EPS of ₹2.27 vs ₹2.99 earlier (adjusted for capital increase). The company recently raised funds via an IPO of 22 lakh equity shares at ₹61 each (₹10 face value plus ₹51 premium), expanding its share capital and reserves. However, operating cash flow was deeply negative at ₹(859.35) lakhs, driven largely by a sharp jump in trade receivables and inventory build-up. The limited review report from the statutory auditor was clean with no qualifications.
Profitability is improving with both revenue and PAT growth, but the large negative operating cash flow and rising receivables point to working capital stress that shareholders should monitor closely. The fresh IPO funds strengthen the balance sheet (debt-equity at 0.20) and may help fund operations, though near-term cash generation is a concern.
