ACC's unaudited September-quarter consolidated revenue rose 29.8% to Rs 5,896.16 crore and net profit jumped to Rs 1,119.26 crore from Rs 199.70 crore. Half-year revenue was Rs 11,932.27 crore and net profit Rs 1,494.68 crore. A Rs 671.41 crore reversal of earlier tax provisions drove profit, while operating cash flow was negative Rs 32.33 crore. The auditor highlighted pending Competition Commission cases.
Revenue growth is positive, but tax reversal flatters profit; weak cash flow and pending Competition Commission cases could weigh on the stock.
