Accel Limited posted Q1 FY27 (June 2026) standalone revenue of Rs 4,325.24 lakhs, up about 12% YoY from Rs 3,865.69 lakhs, driven by IT Services at Rs 4,117 lakhs. However, the company swung to a net loss of Rs 66.33 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 121.32 lakhs a year ago, with EPS turning negative at minus Rs 0.11. PBT collapsed to Rs 12.39 lakhs from Rs 162 lakhs. The auditor (K.S. Aiyar & Co.) issued a qualified review report because management did not impair a Rs 487.79 lakh investment in associate Secureinteli Technologies whose fair value is only Rs 172.82 lakhs, leaving a Rs 315 lakh gap. The board approved appointing Menon and Pai as new statutory auditors for 5 years.
Negative quarter — revenue grew but margins collapsed into a loss; auditor qualification and auditor change add uncertainty for shareholders.
