Acknit Industries reported Q3 FY26 revenue of ₹5,149.75 lakhs, down about 6.8% from ₹5,527.89 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For the nine months ended December 2025, revenue was nearly flat at ₹17,354.77 lakhs versus ₹17,490.03 lakhs a year earlier. Net profit for Q3 fell to ₹145.55 lakhs from ₹177.26 lakhs, and for 9M it dropped to ₹456.97 lakhs from ₹583.42 lakhs, a decline of around 22%. Profit before tax margin shrank from about 4.5% to 3.5% in the 9M period, indicating margin pressure. The Hand Gloves segment, the largest contributor, saw both revenue and profit decline, while Garments grew. Alongside results, the Board announced expansion plans into PPE, helmets, and leather goods, and is evaluating exit from wind power as the windmill nears end of life.
Shareholders see weaker top line and sharply lower profits compared to last year, with margins under pressure, though the company is pursuing diversification into PPE, helmets and leather goods which could support future growth if executed well.
