Acknit Industries' board, meeting on 4 August 2025, approved unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025), along with a clean (unmodified) limited review report from statutory auditors SRB & Associates. Revenue from operations stood at ₹5,524.94 lakhs, down about 3.5% from ₹5,722.71 lakhs in Q1 FY25, while net profit fell roughly 14% to ₹170.70 lakhs from ₹198.47 lakhs a year ago, with EPS at ₹5.62 versus ₹6.53. The hand gloves segment saw weaker sales (₹2,807 lakhs vs ₹3,306 lakhs), but the garment segment grew to ₹2,172 lakhs from ₹1,763 lakhs. Management also announced that a new industrial and readymade garment manufacturing facility at Gopalpur, North 24 Parganas, will become operational within this financial year, and the Falta hand gloves facility has been further expanded.
Mixed for shareholders – topline and profits slipped year-on-year in Q1, but the company is investing in new capacity (garments) and expanding hand gloves output, which could support future growth. The clean auditor report and stable balance sheet (total capital employed around ₹8,900 lakhs) suggest no immediate concerns.
