Acme Resources Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. On a standalone basis, total revenue from operations rose to Rs. 233.30 lakh in Q3 FY26 from Rs. 116.58 lakh in Q3 FY25, while nine-month revenue grew to Rs. 480.37 lakh from Rs. 384.22 lakh. However, the company swung to a standalone loss after tax of Rs. 365.59 lakh in Q3 (vs profit of Rs. 60.58 lakh) and a nine-month loss of Rs. 275.20 lakh (vs profit of Rs. 262.98 lakh), mainly due to a sharp Rs. 595.35 lakh impairment on financial instruments in Q3. Consolidated results also showed a Q3 loss after tax of Rs. 303.07 lakh against a prior profit. The auditor flagged an Emphasis of Matter regarding income tax demands totalling about Rs. 90.65 crore for AY 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2023-24, which the company is contesting. Separately, secretarial auditor Vikas Gera & Associates resigned citing pre-occupation, with no concerns raised.
Despite strong top-line growth, shareholders face a sharply negative quarter driven by large impairment charges and pending tax disputes worth over Rs. 90 crore, which remain a key overhang on the stock. The auditor change and secretarial auditor resignation may warrant closer monitoring for governance comfort.
