CRISIL has assigned a 'CRISIL AA-/Stable' rating to the Rs 2,086 crore long-term bank facilities of two wholly-owned subsidiaries of Acme Solar — ACME Deoghar Solar Power and ACME Phalodi Solar Power — for their 600 MW renewable energy projects in Rajasthan. The term loan of Rs 2,086 crore has been provided by Power Finance Corporation (PFC). CRISIL cited strong revenue visibility, healthy financial metrics, secure cash flow mechanism, and a 25-year fixed-tariff PPA with SECI as key strengths. Both projects are performing above expectations, with plant load factors of around 31.3% and 30.9% respectively. The company noted that all four of its recently commissioned Fatehgarh (Rajasthan) assets have also secured 'AA' family ratings within six months of operations.
Positive for shareholders — a high investment-grade AA-/Stable rating signals strong creditworthiness, supports cheaper future borrowing, and opens doors for potential bond issuances and refinancing. This enhances investor confidence in the company's operational and financial profile.
