Acme Solar Holdings reported a strong Q1 FY26 on a consolidated basis, with total revenue rising 71.8% year-on-year to INR 584 Cr, driven by capacity addition and a higher capacity utilisation factor (CUF) of 28.5%. EBITDA grew 75.7% to INR 531 Cr, with margins expanding to 90.9% (from 88.8%) on operating leverage, while PAT jumped 9,319% YoY to INR 131 Cr (PAT margin 22.4%) from a low base of INR 1 Cr in Q1 FY25. The company commissioned 350 MW of new projects, including its first 50 MW wind project in Gujarat, taking operational capacity to 2,890 MW (up 115.7% YoY), and won its maiden 550 MWh standalone battery storage (BESS) project from NHPC. It also refinanced INR 1,072 Cr of debt at ~8.5% for 5 years, cutting interest cost by ~95 bps, while net debt/EBITDA of 4.2x remains well within its 5.5x target. CRISIL AA-/Stable rating was reaffirmed on four recently commissioned 300 MW SECI ISTS solar projects.
Strong across-the-board growth in revenue, EBITDA, and PAT signals robust execution and improving profitability, likely positive for the stock; debt refinancing at lower rates and a healthy debt/EBITDA ratio also support continued capacity expansion without stress.
