Acme Solar allotted about 10.02 crore equity shares at Rs 279.50 each to qualified institutional buyers, raising about Rs 2,800 crore via QIP. Price was set at a 4.97 percent discount to floor price. Issue ran from June 1 to June 4, 2026. Marquee investors Nippon India, HDFC, SBI, ICICI Prudential and Kotak mutual funds participated. Paid-up equity capital rose from Rs 121 crore to Rs 141 crore.
Capital raise of Rs 2,800 crore dilutes existing shareholders but strengthens balance sheet for solar growth. Slight discount may cause minor short-term pressure.
