Adani Energy Solutions reported strong FY26 results with consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 27,588 crore, up 16% from Rs 23,767 crore in FY25. Profit after tax surged to Rs 2,393 crore from Rs 922 crore in the prior year, driven by robust performance across Transmission, Distribution, and Smart Meter segments. The company earned Rs 19 per share (after regulatory deferral) versus Rs 9.05 in FY25. Walker Chandiok & Co LLP issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. An exceptional item of Rs 1,506 crore was recorded relating to the divestment of Dahanu Thermal Power Plant by subsidiary AEML to a related party. Total assets stood at Rs 92,835 crore with total borrowings of Rs 48,898 crore.
The sharp PAT growth of 160% reflects operational strength, though EBITDA margin compressed slightly to 28.96% from 29.73%. The large exceptional charge from asset divestment is non-cash and ESG-driven. Clean audit opinion removes going concern risks.
