Adani Green Energy reported its Q1 FY26 results after a board meeting on July 28, 2025. On a consolidated basis, total income rose to ₹4,006 crore from ₹3,112 crore a year ago (~29% growth), driven by power supply revenue jumping to ₹3,312 crore from ₹2,528 crore. Consolidated profit for the period grew to ₹824 crore from ₹629 crore (~31% growth), with basic EPS of ₹4.26 versus ₹2.63. Operational renewable capacity expanded to 15,816 MW from 10,934 MW a year earlier (~45% growth). On a standalone basis, the company swung to a ₹34 crore profit after tax versus a ₹89 crore loss last year, though this was after a ₹37 crore impairment provision booked as an exceptional item. The promoter group also converted 4.06 crore warrants into equity shares for ₹6,024 crore, raising paid-up share capital.
Strong operational and financial performance with revenue and profit growth above 25% on a consolidated basis, plus significant capacity addition, is positive for shareholders. However, investors should note the auditor's emphasis-of-matter reference to the pending US DOJ indictment and SEC complaint against certain directors (the company itself is not named), and the exceptional impairment charges.
