Japan Credit Rating Agency (JCR) has assigned Adani Green Energy a BBB+ rating with Stable outlook, at par with India's sovereign rating. Sister firms APSEZ got A- (above sovereign) and AESL got BBB+. AGEL's EBITDA grew from INR 1,855 Cr in FY20 to INR 10,532 Cr in FY25, with 16.7 GW operational capacity and 9.4-year debt maturity.
Positive credit signal. Sovereign-grade rating may attract global lenders and lower borrowing costs for the Adani Group.
