Adani Power reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 54,240.52 crore for FY26, down 3.5% from Rs 56,203.09 crore in FY25, marking a revenue decline. Net profit after tax grew 1.7% to Rs 12,971.08 crore versus Rs 12,749.61 crore in the prior year. Operating margin compressed to 37.06% from 38.06% YoY, indicating EBITDA margin compression. Finance costs increased slightly to Rs 3,366.83 crore from Rs 3,339.79 crore. Statutory auditors SR B C & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion. The company also announced appointment of BDO India as internal auditor replacing the prior auditor due to organizational restructuring, and reappointed Mr. Anil Sardana as Managing Director for one year.
Revenue declined YoY while PAT grew modestly; margin compression is a concern for cost efficiency. Clean audit opinion provides assurance to shareholders despite regulatory disputes pending with discoms.
