Adani Total Gas reported Q1FY27 consolidated revenue from operations of ₹1,906.79 Cr, up about 27% YoY from ₹1,498.32 Cr in Q1FY26, driven mainly by higher cost of natural gas and traded items (₹1,302.51 Cr vs ₹928.37 Cr). However, consolidated profit after tax fell to ₹141.72 Cr from ₹165.24 Cr YoY (down ~14%), with EPS at ₹1.29 vs ₹1.50. Standalone PAT was ₹133.03 Cr vs ₹162.17 Cr, with EPS of ₹1.21 vs ₹1.47. EBITDA margin compressed notably as gas costs rose faster than other income, while finance costs also increased to ₹39.10 Cr from ₹27.60 Cr. The statutory auditor (Walker Chandiok & Co LLP) issued an unmodified limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Top-line growth was strong but bottom-line declined on margin pressure from higher gas input costs and finance charges — the stock may react negatively on profitability concerns despite healthy revenue expansion. No new material risk disclosed; pending US DOJ/SEC matter relates to a non-executive director and does not impact the company directly.
