Adani Total Gas reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹1,906.79 crore in Q1 FY27, up about 27% year-on-year from ₹1,498.32 crore in Q1 FY26, driven mainly by higher cost of natural gas and traded items. Despite the strong top-line growth, consolidated profit after tax fell roughly 14% YoY to ₹141.72 crore from ₹165.24 crore, as EBITDA margins compressed on rising input costs, higher depreciation and increased finance charges. Standalone PAT was ₹133.03 crore versus ₹162.17 crore in Q1 FY26, an ~18% decline, with consolidated EPS at ₹1.29 (vs ₹1.50 YoY). The auditor (Walker Chandiok & Co LLP) issued an unqualified limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Strong revenue growth signals volume expansion in the CGD business, but shrinking margins and falling PAT may weigh on investor sentiment in the near term. Pending PNGRB-related appeals and the US DOJ/SEC matter against a non-executive director remain key monitorables, though management has stated no direct financial impact on the company.
