Add-Shop E-Retail reported Q2 FY26 revenue of ₹3,339.76 lakhs, up about 7% YoY from ₹3,120.16 lakhs. However, profit after tax fell sharply to ₹22.73 lakhs (vs ₹88.47 lakhs in Q2 FY25), a drop of nearly 74%. For the half-year (H1 FY26), revenue declined around 12% to ₹6,280.98 lakhs (vs ₹7,156.28 lakhs in H1 FY25), while profit after tax collapsed about 79% to ₹43.68 lakhs. Operating cash flow improved significantly to ₹699.58 lakhs (vs negative ₹410.31 lakhs in H1 FY25), and short-term borrowings were sharply reduced from ₹3,760.87 lakhs to ₹1,153.83 lakhs. The auditor (K M Chauhan & Associates) issued an unqualified review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Sharp profit decline despite steady revenue points to severe margin compression and rising costs, which is negative for shareholders. However, the big improvement in operating cash flow and sharp reduction in short-term debt are positives that strengthen the balance sheet. Investors should watch whether margins recover in upcoming quarters.
