Addi Industries has informed BSE about the reclassification of its shareholding categories following the completion of an open offer. A total of 80,18,175 equity shares were transferred from six erstwhile promoters (Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Mr. Chamanlal Jain, Mr. Hari Bansal, Mrs. Urmila Jain, Mrs. Anju Bhasker, and Ultimate Investment LLP) to a group of acquirers led by Mr. Rajat Goyal and Mr. Sandeep Mittal, pursuant to a Share Purchase Agreement dated May 20, 2025. As a result, the six selling entities have been moved from the 'Promoter & Promoter Group' category to the 'Public' category, while the six acquirers have been reclassified from 'Public' to 'Promoter & Promoter Group'. This is a routine regulatory filing under Regulation 31A of SEBI LODR following the takeover.
There is a complete change in the promoter identity of the company, though no new equity issuance has occurred. Shareholders should expect new management direction under the incoming promoters; short-term stock movement could occur as the market digests the change of control.
