On the reaction day the stock moved 1.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.9 pts less than its Packaged Foods peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

ADF Foods' US subsidiary had won court judgments of about US$2.31 million plus interest against Ascot Valley Foods. Under a Forbearance Agreement dated 9 Oct 2026, it has conditionally agreed to accept US$1.75 million plus interest. An initial US$450,000 was received on 9 Oct 2026. The remaining US$1.30 million is payable in monthly instalments of at least US$25,000 for up to 52 months starting Nov 2026. Ascot must withdraw its appeal. The permanent injunction protecting the subsidiary's recipes and trade secrets remains fully effective.
Positive: structured recovery of money owed starts; IP protection preserved; small concession versus full judgment value.
