Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL) submitted its unaudited Q1 FY26 results (quarter ended 30 June 2025) along with the Limited Review Report by M M Nissim & Co LLP. On a standalone basis, total income rose to Rs 4,041.52 crore from Rs 3,664.64 crore in the restated Q1 FY25, while profit after tax increased modestly to Rs 675.70 crore from Rs 658.48 crore; basic EPS stood at Rs 2.59. On a consolidated basis, total revenue grew to Rs 9,530.81 crore and PAT attributable to owners rose to Rs 835.08 crore from Rs 758.84 crore, with basic EPS of Rs 3.20. The Board also approved the grant of 2,48,499 Performance Stock Units (PSUs) at Rs 10 per share under the 2022 ESOP scheme, with 100% vesting in the first year. Prior period figures have been restated following the amalgamation of erstwhile Aditya Birla Finance Limited (ABFL) with ABCL, effective 1 April 2025 with an appointed date of 1 April 2024. Gross Stage 3 assets stood at 2.27% (vs 2.24% in FY25) and capital adequacy ratio was 18.11%.
Results show steady single-digit topline growth and stable profitability, though net profit margin has compressed from 17.97% to 16.72% on a standalone basis. The PSU grant at a nominal Rs 10 strike price is employee-friendly but a mild dilution signal. The ABFL amalgamation now flows fully into reported numbers, providing a cleaner like-for-like comparison going forward.
