CareEdge Ratings has upgraded Advance Agrolife's long-term bank facilities rating from CARE BBB; Stable to CARE BBB+; Stable, on the back of the company's FY25 audited and 9MFY26 unaudited performance. The rating covers total bank facilities of Rs. 113.09 crore, with the long-term portion enhanced from Rs. 92.09 crore to Rs. 100.89 crore. New ratings of CARE BBB+; Stable/CARE A3+ were assigned to long-term/short-term bank facilities (Rs. 6 crore) and short-term bank facilities (Rs. 0.20 crore), while an existing short-term facility of Rs. 6 crore was reaffirmed at CARE A3+. Punjab National Bank is the lead lender across term loans, cash credit, letter of credit, bank guarantee, and forward contract limits.
This rating upgrade signals improved creditworthiness and could lower future borrowing costs, while the Stable outlook suggests the agency sees balanced near-term risks. For shareholders, it reflects strengthening financial health, though the company still sits in the investment-grade BBB band, not the highest tier.
