The board allotted 97.25 lakh fully convertible warrants to 118 non-promoter investors at Rs 40 each, including Rs 30 premium over the Rs 10 face value. Investors paid 25 percent, Rs 9.73 crore, upfront. Each warrant can convert into one share within 18 months on payment of the remaining Rs 30, making the total commitment Rs 38.90 crore.
The issue may raise up to Rs 38.90 crore but can dilute existing shareholders when the warrants convert into 97.25 lakh shares.
