Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Consolidated revenue for the quarter rose 3.9% year on year to Rs1,917.12m, while net profit rose 14.4% to Rs511.53m. The quarter included a Rs204.20m exceptional credit; profit before tax and exceptional items was Rs483.37m versus Rs595.41m a year ago. Six-month revenue declined 8.8% to Rs3,704.42m, but profit rose 5.4% to Rs897.42m. Operating cash flow was Rs771.98m. By October 30, the buyback had used 99.99% of its Rs697m limit and closed.
Reported profit benefited from an exceptional credit, but underlying profit and sales weakened. The buyback aids per-share figures but uses cash.
