Aelea Commodities' board approved standalone and consolidated unaudited results for H1 FY26 on 15 October 2025. Revenue from operations nearly doubled to Rs 17,369 lakhs (consolidated) from Rs 8,774 lakhs a year ago, driven by its cashew processing business. Net profit rose to Rs 870 lakhs from Rs 558 lakhs (about 56% growth), with EPS improving to Rs 4.27 from Rs 3.25. The company booked a Rs 200 lakh exceptional item for bad debts in both periods. Total assets expanded to Rs 23,116 lakhs and operating cash flow was strong at Rs 2,347 lakhs. The statutory auditor (Doshi Doshi & Co) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The board also announced plans to set up two wholly owned subsidiaries – one for nuts and fruits processing/trading and another for sustainability and renewable energy.
Strong topline doubling and healthy profit growth are positive signals for shareholders. However, the sharp rise in trade payables (over Rs 10,000 lakhs) alongside inventory build-up and continuing capex suggests working-capital strain worth monitoring, even though operating cash flow remains comfortably positive.
