The Karnataka High Court has set aside the income tax assessment order dated September 27, 2021 for FY 2017-18 (AY 2018-19), which had raised a demand of ₹779.56 Mn from Aequs. The company had filed a writ petition in October 2021 challenging the order. The court digitally signed the favourable order on December 18, 2025, which was received by the company on December 24, 2025. This is a revised intimation under SEBI LODR Regulation 30.
Positive — ₹779.56 Mn tax liability nullified, removing a major overhang and saving the company from a large cash outflow.
