Ahlada Engineers has informed the exchange that the Customs Department has lifted the seizure of machinery that was earlier attached under four EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods) Licenses on 9 August 2025. The Principal Commissioner of Customs, Hyderabad, issued the lifting order on 25 August 2025 after considering the company's explanation and extensions granted by DGFT for the export obligation period. Machinery under three of the four licenses was unsealed on 26 August 2025, while the company is awaiting extension approval for the fourth license. The company has also filed a writ petition (WP No. 24008/2025) before the Telangana High Court challenging the seizure. Management has confirmed there is no financial or operational impact from the lifting of the seizure.
