AJC Jewel Manufacturers Ltd, a Kerala-based gem and jewellery company that listed on BSE's SME platform in July 2025, reported its first half-yearly results post-listing for H1 FY26 (ended 30 Sept 2025). Revenue from operations stood at Rs 9,172.52 lakhs, marginally lower than Rs 9,237.31 lakhs in H1 FY25, while total income rose sharply to Rs 11,930.61 lakhs from Rs 9,250.66 lakhs driven by other income. Profit after tax jumped about 60% to Rs 260.88 lakhs from Rs 163.18 lakhs, with EPS of Rs 5.67 (vs Rs 2.77). Total assets expanded to Rs 7,123 lakhs from Rs 4,935 lakhs, aided by an equity infusion (share capital and reserves nearly doubled). The Board also approved acquiring AJC Jewel Manufacturers FZE, a UAE-based promoter group entity, to expand into foreign markets.
Strong profit growth and improved margins on a stable revenue base are positives for shareholders, though a marginal revenue dip and sharp rise in trade receivables and short-term borrowings warrant monitoring. The planned UAE subsidiary acquisition signals international expansion but introduces promoter group related-party risk; deal terms are still pending.
