Alacrity Securities' board, at its May 27, 2025 meeting, approved the standalone audited financial results for FY ended 31 March 2025 along with the appointment of M/s HP Bhalekar & Associates, Chartered Accountants, as the new Internal Auditor for FY 2025-26. Total revenue from operations jumped to Rs. 57,007.49 lakhs in FY25 from Rs. 34,120.30 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 67%. However, full-year profit after tax rose only marginally to Rs. 1,204.52 lakhs (from Rs. 1,145.24 lakhs), and the company posted a loss of Rs. 514.41 lakhs in Q4 FY25. Statutory auditor CLB & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, while operating cash flow swung sharply negative to Rs. (3,952.89) lakhs versus a small outflow of Rs. 31.44 lakhs last year.
Strong top-line growth is a positive, but weak margin expansion, a quarterly loss, and a steep negative operating cash flow suggest working-capital stress that investors should watch closely. The appointment of a new internal auditor is a routine compliance measure and not a red flag on its own.
