Alicon Castalloy Limited reported audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2026. Standalone revenue grew 8.8% to Rs. 1,66,074 lakhs, but net profit declined 13.4% to Rs. 3,287 lakhs due to higher material costs and exceptional items. Consolidated revenue increased 3.2% to Rs. 1,77,573 lakhs with net profit down 25.2% to Rs. 3,444 lakhs. Exceptional items included Rs. 500.09 lakhs for labour code changes (gratuity impact) and Rs. 256.63 lakhs for settlement of a past legal claim. The Board declared an interim dividend of Rs. 2 per share (40%). Auditors Kirtane & Pandit LLP issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications. The company operates only in the aluminum castings segment.
The company showed revenue growth but profit declined significantly, especially on a consolidated basis. The clean audit opinion and dividend declaration provide some comfort, but the ~25% PAT decline on consolidated basis may concern investors focused on profitability.
