Alicon Castalloy Limited's Board of Directors declared an interim dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share (40% on face value of Rs. 5) for FY 2025-26. The record date for determining entitlement is 19th May 2026. For FY2026, standalone revenue grew 8.8% to Rs. 1,66,074 lakhs, but net profit declined 13.4% to Rs. 3,287 lakhs due to exceptional items (Rs. 500 lakhs labour code impact) and higher material costs. Consolidated revenue increased 3.2% to Rs. 1,77,573 lakhs while net profit fell 25.2% to Rs. 3,444 lakhs. Basic EPS dropped from Rs. 23.36 to Rs. 20.12 on standalone basis. The company also approved audited financial results and appointed P.G. Bhagwat LLP as internal auditor for FY 2026-27.
The interim dividend signals management confidence despite profit decline. However, the 13-25% profit drop amid cost pressures may limit immediate upside for shareholders. The Rs. 2 per share dividend translates to approximately Rs. 326.74 lakhs total payout, which is lower than previous year dividends of Rs. 897 lakhs paid in FY2025.
