Allied Blenders and Distillers (ABDL) announced a final dividend of Rs. 3.60 per equity share (face value Rs. 2) for FY25, with record date fixed as June 27, 2025 and AGM on July 8, 2025. The Board also approved a proposal to raise up to Rs. 1,000 crore (Rs. 10,000 million) through equity shares, convertible securities, or a QIP, subject to shareholder approval. A capital expenditure of Rs. 29 crore was approved to triple bottling capacity at the Derabassi, Punjab plant from 1 lakh to 3 lakh cases per month within 12 months. Standalone FY25 revenue from operations rose to Rs. 8,072.96 crore (from Rs. 7,668.57 crore in FY24), while net profit jumped sharply to Rs. 200.13 crore (from Rs. 6.72 crore). The company also flagged a Rs. 352.31 crore income tax demand (90% stayed) and an ongoing arbitration with CSD over a Rs. 42.10 crore claim.
Shareholders are set to receive a Rs. 3.60 per share final dividend, pending AGM approval. The Rs. 1,000 crore fund-raising plan could lead to equity dilution, while the Derabassi capacity expansion signals growth plans. Sharp profit growth in FY25 is a positive, but the income tax dispute and customer arbitration remain key risks to monitor.
