Alok Industries reported consolidated revenue of Rs 993.11 Cr for Q1 FY27, up 6.5% from Rs 932.49 Cr a year ago. Net loss narrowed to Rs 138.25 Cr from Rs 171.56 Cr, helped by a Rs 17.20 Cr exceptional gain from an insurance claim related to tornado damage at Silvassa. EBITDA stood at Rs 59.57 Cr. Finance costs remain high at Rs 150.91 Cr. Accumulated losses stand at Rs 23,784.41 Cr. The auditor flagged the IBC resolution plan treatment of assigned debt as emphasis of matter, and the company is still restructuring operations.
Loss narrowed on better revenue and one-time insurance gain, but huge accumulated losses and high interest costs keep the stock risky for investors.
