Alpa Laboratories posted Q1 FY27 revenue from operations of Rs 2,393.05 lacs, up about 25% from Rs 1,911.07 lacs YoY. Standalone PAT fell sharply to Rs 103.84 lacs from Rs 1,177.59 lacs, mainly because other income dropped to Rs 582.93 lacs vs Rs 1,195.78 lacs due to lower unrealized gains on investments. EPS stood at Rs 0.52 vs Rs 5.60. Auditor C.H. Padliya gave an unmodified review report.
Strong operating revenue growth is positive, but sharp PAT decline due to non-operating investment gains may concern investors.
