Amara Raja Energy & Mobility reported FY25 consolidated revenue from operations of ₹12,846.32 crore, up about 9.7% from ₹11,708.44 crore in FY24. Net profit for the year rose marginally to ₹944.67 crore from ₹934.38 crore. Q4 was weaker, with revenue of ₹3,060.07 crore and net profit of ₹161.57 crore versus ₹229.78 crore a year earlier. The company booked a ₹111.07 crore exceptional charge tied to its Chittoor fire accident insurance claim — ₹175 crore was received but cumulative receipts fell short of the receivable already on the books. The Board recommended a total dividend of ₹10.50 per share for FY25 (₹5.30 interim + ₹5.20 final), higher than ₹9.90 in FY24. Auditors Deloitte and Brahmayya issued an unmodified opinion.
Full-year revenue growth is healthy but margin pressure and the exceptional hit dragged earnings, making Q4 look soft. Shareholders get a slightly higher dividend, and the insurance proceeds strengthen cash flow, though the Log 9 investment was fully written off.
