Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹13,548.86 crore for FY26, up 9.2% from ₹12,404.89 crore in FY25. Net profit after tax was ₹1,306.93 crore, virtually flat versus ₹1,299.15 crore in the prior year, despite higher sales. The flat PAT was primarily due to a net exceptional charge of ₹259.14 crore, which included a ₹43.80 crore impact from new labour code provisions (gratuity) offset by ₹181.15 crore insurance proceeds from a fire damage claim at the Chittoor facility and ₹121.79 crore business interruption claim. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹5.20 per share, taking total FY26 dividend to ₹10.60 per share (vs ₹10.50 in FY25). Joint Statutory Auditors issued an Unmodified Opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Revenue growth of ~9% was offset by exceptional items and higher input costs, keeping PAT flat. However, strong operating cash flow of ₹1,683.52 crore signals healthy underlying business performance. The clean audit opinion and dividend increase are positive for shareholders.
