Ambuja Cements reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹25,052 crore for FY2026, up ~20% from ₹20,889 crore in FY2025 (restated). Profit after tax stood at ₹3,558 crore vs restated ₹2,835 crore — a ~25.5% PAT growth. The Board declared a dividend of ₹2 per share (100%) for FY2026, payable post shareholder approval at the June 26, 2026 AGM. Statutory auditors S R B C & Co. issued an unmodified opinion. Exceptional items totalled ₹320.87 crore (net expense) for the year, including ₹89.90 crore stamp duty on amalgamations, ₹58.02 crore new labour code impact, ₹222.80 crore West Bengal incentive provision write-off, partially offset by ₹123.37 crore Chhattisgarh cess reversal. Results were restated due to amalgamation of Sanghi Industries Limited (w.e.f. April 1, 2024) and Penna Cement Industries Limited (w.e.f. August 16, 2024) under pooling of interest method. The company also appointed Grant Thornton Bharat LLP as new internal auditor (replacing Mr. Shobhit Dwivedi due to organizational restructuring) and P.M. Nanabhoy & Co. as cost auditors for FY2026-27.
Strong financial year with ~20% revenue growth and ~25.5% PAT growth. Multiple exceptional items and one-time tax credits (net ₹2,391 crore tax credit including ₹1,187 crore deferred tax credit) inflated PAT. Restatement of prior periods due to subsidiary amalgamations is a housekeeping item. Dividend declaration is positive for shareholder returns.
