On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts more than Nifty 100 and 0.5 pts more than its Cement & Cement Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY27: sales 16.5 million metric tons, revenue INR9,197 crore, EBITDA INR1,271 crore (margin about 14%), PAT INR236 crore. Trade volumes rose 8.6%. Management plans 14 projects adding 30 million tons of cement capacity for INR14,500 crore, targeting 149 million tons by FY29 and 155 million tons by FY30. Cost targets: INR4,250 per ton in FY27 and INR4,000 at FY28. ACC and Orient Cement mergers with Ambuja are expected within FY27.
Expansion supports growth and a debt-free balance sheet, but higher fuel and logistics costs may squeeze margins in the near term.
