Amco India's Board approved unaudited results for Q2 and H1 FY26, with revenue from operations rising to Rs 3,406.56 lakhs (Q2 FY26) from Rs 2,880.38 lakhs (Q2 FY25), an 18% year-on-year increase. For H1 FY26, revenue grew to Rs 6,011.08 lakhs from Rs 5,225.37 lakhs, up about 15% year-on-year. However, profitability collapsed sharply — net profit fell to Rs 26.44 lakhs in Q2 (vs Rs 40.28 lakhs) and just Rs 12.54 lakhs for H1 (vs Rs 86.85 lakhs), a roughly 86% drop. The Aluminium Foil segment remains the sole revenue contributor; PVC Film/Sheeting shows no activity. Statutory auditor V.V. Kale & Company issued an unmodified limited review report. Operating cash flow turned positive at Rs 113.04 lakhs (vs negative Rs 206.36 lakhs a year ago).
Despite top-line growth, the steep fall in profits signals severe margin pressure, which may concern investors and weigh on the stock in the near term. The single-segment dependence on Aluminium Foil adds business concentration risk.
