AMD Industries, which makes crown caps, PET preforms and plastic closures, posted its Q1 FY26 results on August 14, 2025. Net revenue from operations fell to Rs 8,666.83 lakhs from Rs 9,547.81 lakhs in the same quarter last year, a decline of around 9%. Profit after tax dropped sharply to Rs 151.27 lakhs from Rs 375.31 lakhs, down nearly 60% year-on-year, while earnings per share fell to Rs 0.79 from Rs 1.96. Total expenses were largely flat, with raw material costs and finance costs remaining the key pressure points. The auditor (KN Gutgutia & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications or concerns raised.
