Ameenji Rubber Ltd reported strong results for H1 FY26, with revenue from operations rising to ₹4,270.41 lakhs from ₹3,936.94 lakhs in H1 FY25, an increase of about 8.5%. Profit after tax more than doubled to ₹437.59 lakhs versus ₹215.00 lakhs, pushing EPS to ₹5.28 from ₹2.60. Operating profit before tax grew sharply to ₹573.46 lakhs, helped by lower material costs, though finance costs rose to ₹340.87 lakhs from ₹241.32 lakhs on higher borrowings. The auditor (M M Reddy & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. The company recently listed on BSE's SME platform on October 6, 2025, and holds a 90% stake in US subsidiary Ameenji Rubber Inc, for which purchase consideration remains unpaid.
Strong earnings growth and margin expansion are positive for shareholders, though the surge in long-term borrowings (D/E ratio above 1) and rising finance costs warrant attention. Cash balance remains thin at just ₹15.19 lakhs, so the freshly raised IPO funds will be important for liquidity.
