Amin Tannery Limited, a Kanpur-based leather and leather products exporter, reported its FY25 audited results on May 30, 2025. Revenue from operations fell to Rs 4,158.78 lakh from Rs 4,709.38 lakh in FY24, a decline of roughly 11.7%. Q4 FY25 revenue dropped to Rs 962.37 lakh from Rs 1,173.31 lakh in Q4 FY24. Profit after tax for FY25 stood at Rs 29.10 lakh versus Rs 35.94 lakh in FY24, while Q4 PAT came in at Rs 10.60 lakh versus Rs 12.44 lakh. Earnings per share for the full year remained flat at Rs 0.03. Statutory auditor Kapoor Tandon & Co. issued an unmodified (unqualified) opinion on the results. The company continues to operate in a single leather segment.
Shareholders should note the double-digit decline in both revenue and profits alongside an extremely high debt-to-equity ratio (total borrowings of about Rs 2,854 lakh against equity of Rs 1,282 lakh, roughly 2.2x), which leaves the company financially fragile despite a positive operating cash flow of Rs 230.40 lakh. EPS remains marginal at Rs 0.03, offering little earnings support for the stock.
