Ampvolts Ltd (formerly Quest Softech India), which operates in the electric vehicle chargers and charging stations business, reported a sharp jump in its December quarter performance. Revenue from operations for Q3 FY26 rose to ₹688.45 lakhs versus just ₹39.60 lakhs in the year-ago quarter, with nine-month revenue at ₹935.94 lakhs versus ₹105.18 lakhs last year. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹798.60 lakhs and the company swung to a profit after tax of ₹153.21 lakhs, compared to a loss of ₹12.01 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For the nine months, PAT was ₹142.22 lakhs versus a loss of ₹74.00 lakhs previously, translating to an EPS of ₹0.55 (9M) and ₹0.59 (Q3). The statutory auditor, Bansi Khandelwal & Co., issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or concerns flagged.
The dramatic revenue growth and turnaround to profitability suggest the EV charging business is scaling up meaningfully, which is positive for shareholders. However, the company is small (paid-up equity around ₹25.71 cr) and the prior-period base was very low, so investors should track whether this growth is sustainable before drawing long-term conclusions.
