Amwill Health Care reported its H1 FY26 (April–September 2025) results. Revenue from operations fell about 8.4% to Rs 2,120.50 lakhs from Rs 2,315.60 lakhs a year ago. Total income was almost flat at Rs 2,260.30 lakhs because other income jumped sharply to Rs 139.80 lakhs (vs Rs 9.11 lakhs), driven mainly by interest earned on IPO deposits. However, total expenses rose nearly 20% to Rs 1,733.90 lakhs, pulled up by a sharp jump in 'other expenses' to Rs 673.15 lakhs (from Rs 450.04 lakhs). Profit after tax dropped around 40.6% to Rs 387.40 lakhs (from Rs 651.66 lakhs), and EPS fell to Rs 1.94 from Rs 4.18. Net cash from operating activities also shrank to Rs 263.74 lakhs versus Rs 1,014.63 lakhs last year. Of the Rs 4,888 lakhs IPO proceeds raised in February 2025, the company has used Rs 3,288.09 lakhs so far, with the balance parked in bank term deposits and current accounts.
Core business momentum has clearly weakened, with falling revenue, sharply higher expenses and a ~40% drop in profit — a negative read for shareholders despite a clean auditor review. The dip in operating cash flow and the still-unutilised IPO funds are key things to watch going forward.
