Anand Rayons, a Surat-based textile company, reported its Q1 FY26 results with net sales of ₹7,595.38 lakh, up about 8% from ₹7,030.52 lakh in Q1 FY25. Total income rose to ₹7,626.49 lakh from ₹7,030.52 lakh. Profit before tax more than doubled to ₹117.71 lakh from ₹52.36 lakh, helped by sharply lower finance costs (₹18.41 lakh vs ₹34.49 lakh) and contained employee and other expenses. Basic EPS improved to ₹0.56 from ₹0.35. The statutory auditor (M.R. Bombaywala & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report with no adverse comment. The board also appointed a new secretarial auditor for FY26 and reclassified a promoter relative (Anand Bakshi HUF) into the promoter category.
Margin expansion and strong PAT growth (>100% YoY) on modest revenue growth signal better operating leverage and easing interest burden — modestly positive for shareholders, though absolute margins remain thin (~1.5–2%) typical of a commodity textile business.
