Anjani Finance, an Indore-based NBFC, reported a loss of about Rs 0.61 lakh in Q1 FY27 (quarter ended June 2026) against a profit of Rs 3.92 lakh in Q1 FY26. Revenue rose marginally to Rs 11.60 lakh from Rs 11.17 lakh. Total expenses jumped to Rs 12.21 lakh from Rs 6.87 lakh, driven mainly by depreciation of Rs 4.30 lakh. EPS turned negative at minus Rs 0.006. Statutory auditors changed from Mahendra Badjatya and Co. to SAP Jain and Associates. Auditor issued an unmodified limited review report.
Sharp expense growth pushed the firm into loss despite flat revenue. Auditor change and negative earnings may concern shareholders.
