Anjani Foods reported Q3 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs. 1,482.93 lakhs, nearly flat compared to Rs. 1,471.23 lakhs in Q3 FY25. Standalone profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 9.94 lakhs from Rs. 43.29 lakhs a year ago, largely due to an exceptional item of Rs. 28.92 lakhs booked this quarter. On a consolidated basis (including subsidiary Senta Foodworks), revenue rose modestly to Rs. 1,689.94 lakhs (vs Rs. 1,649.90 lakhs), while PAT dropped to Rs. 19.31 lakhs from Rs. 48.73 lakhs. For the nine-month period, standalone PAT slumped to Rs. 22.21 lakhs from Rs. 121.65 lakhs, again dragged by a goodwill impairment of Rs. 86.77 lakhs treated as an exceptional item, to be recognised in four equal instalments through FY25-26. The auditor M. Anandam & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
The headline profit numbers look weak, but most of the drop is explained by a one-time goodwill impairment rather than an operational collapse, so underlying earnings remain modestly positive. Still, flat revenue growth, thin margins, and the recurring drag from exceptional items in remaining quarters may keep the stock under pressure in the near term.
